As per Rule 12-C & 68-O
1.Commitment of the top management to health, safety and environment and compliance of the statutory requirements.
2.Organizational set up to carry out the policy.
3.Arrangements to make the policy effective.
4.Arrangements for involving workers.
5.Consideration of health and safety performance for career advancement.
6.Fixing responsibilities of contractors, sub-contractors, transporters and other agencies entering the premises.
7.Declaring health and safety performance of the factory in its annual report.
8.Techniques and methods viz. safety audit, risk assessment and on the status of health, safety and environment and taking remedial measures.
9.Arrangements for informing, educating and training workers and the public where required.
►A copy of policy shall be given to authorities, workers, contract workers, apprentices, transport workers, suppliers etc.
►It shall be displayed at all conspicuous (prominent ) places. It shall be revised whenever any expansion, modification, use of new substance or articles affect the health and safety of persons at work.
